Sceptical

萬眾期待的港視不獲發牌，政府以保密為由，不作交代，但又不時有消息人士放風聲稱原因為何，市民不感懷疑（sceptical）才怪。

Sceptical是形容詞，解「懷疑的、多疑的」，後接介詞of或about。例如，The public are deeply sceptical of the reasons for denying HKTV a licence.（市民對港視不獲發牌的原因深感懷疑。）；He is always sceptical about what he reads on the Internet.（對於在互聯網上讀到的東西，他總抱懷疑態度。）

Sceptical的名詞是sceptic，字尾變化與critical（批判的）和critic（評論家）一樣。例句：Sceptics demand the government to give a proper explanation over the denial of a free-TV licence to HKTV.（懷疑者要求政府給予恰當的解釋，為何港視不獲發免費電視牌照。）

另外，留意美式英文的拼寫是skeptical和skeptic。
