Interfere with／in

中國外交部不時要求外國停止一切干預（interfere）中國內政、香港事務的行為，並且表示強烈不滿。今次亦不例外，英國下議院外交事務委員會議員計劃來港了解中英聯合聲明的落實情況，未出發已獲悉會遭拒絕入境。

Interfere解「干預、干涉」，即是過問或試圖影響別人的事，而且令別人感到煩擾。Interfere是不及物動詞（intransitive verb），所以不能直接後跟受詞（object），必須先接介詞with或者in。例句：The Chinese government never allows other countries to interfere with its internal affairs.（中國政府從來不允許其他國家干涉其內政。）The teacher is unwilling to interfere in students' personal lives.（那老師不願意干涉學生的私人生活。）

在法律和物理的語境也常用到interfere一字。例句：Interfering with witnesses is an offence.（干擾證人屬違法。）The mountainous terrain interferes with television signals.（多山的地形干擾電視訊號。）
