Organise your fridge

湖南一名老翁日前因為吃了放在雪櫃兩天的西瓜，而令長達70厘米的小腸壞死。細菌在雪櫃裏也可以大量繁殖，所以必須穩妥存放食物和整理（organise）雪櫃。

動詞organise大體上有兩個意思，上文提到的organise一字指「整理」，系統地安排使有條理--arrange systematically。例如，I'm learning how to style and organise the open shelves in my kitchen.（我正在學習如何設計和整理廚房裏的開放式層架。）She likes to organise her clothes according to colour.（她喜歡根據顏色整理衣服。）

Organise的另一個意思是指「組織、安排、籌劃（活動）」。例如，They will organise a meeting between the teachers and parents.（他們將安排一次老師和家長的會面。）

Organise的過去分詞（past participle）可以用作形容詞，解「有條理的」。例句︰The event was very badly organised. You didn't know where you were going to be seated.（這次活動組織得非常糟糕，你不知道你將要坐在哪裏。）He is very organised and is excellent with clients.（他非常有條理，而且面對客戶很優秀。）
