Prop my eyes open with matchsticks

「我根本要夾硬撑大對眼工作！」才星期二，朋友已經工作得很疲累。原因是他打從月中以來，連周末也沒有假放，朝九晚一，只有工作，過着非人生活。

因為很疲累而要「撑大對眼」，英文也有類似的說法--prop my eyes open with matchsticks，按照字面解「用火柴撑開眼睛」。累透了，眼袋夠大，由眉到眼袋底差不多就是火柴的長度！例句：I had a very bad jetlag and only slept for two hours last night. I'm like literally propping my eyes open with matchsticks now.（時差很嚴重，我昨晚只睡了兩小時，現在簡直是夾硬撑大對眼。）
