Fidget

小朋友專注力有限，要他們定神聽老師講課一句鐘絕不可能，他們一定會坐立不安（fidget），所以課堂必須加入互動活動。

Fidget解「坐立不安」，不能坐定定（sit still），不停做些小動作，手手腳腳動來動去，或因為無聊，或因為不耐煩，又或者緊張、興奮。例句：Children cannot sit still for a whole hour without fidgeting.（孩子無法一個小時坐着動也不動。）

When students become uninterested, they tend to fidget, glance around the room, or start to talk with their classmates.（當學生變得不感興趣時，他們往往坐立不安，四周張望，或開始和同學交談。）

看到他人fidget，自己也會覺得心煩。小時候，坐立不安時會轉筆、撥弄頭髮，老師看得不耐煩，便會罵起來：「Stop fidgeting with your pencil and hair！」Fidget後接with點出來回撥弄甚麼物品。
