sexual minority

電視劇集《大叔的愛》熱播，令更多人關注性小眾（sexual minority），譬如法律保障是否足夠。

「性小眾」又可以稱為「性少數」，指其性身份、性取向或性行為與社會大多數人不同，例如同性戀者、跨性別、雙性人等。

「性小眾」的英文是sexual minority，minority解「少數」，常用a minority of something或者in the minority。例句︰You shouldn't blame all of them. It's a minority of these people who are causing the problem.（你不應該責怪他們所有人，造成問題的只是這些人中的一小部分。）

At many cybersecurity events, women are very much in the minority, as both speakers and attendees.（在許多網絡安全活動中，無論是演講者還是參與者，女性都是少數。）

Minority還可以指種族、宗教或政治立場的「少數派」。例如，There should be sound economic and social measures to protect the rights of ethnic minorities and to preserve their culture.（應該有健全的經濟和社會措施，來保障少數民族的權利和保存他們的文化。）
