《法證先鋒IV》至今播出了兩星期，無論是角色或是劇情，都引起不少話題。而劇中除了主角譚俊彥外，有些演員更是不同年代的「星二代」，在劇中也有不錯發揮。

湯洛雯
數到「星二代」，當然不少得「靚湯」湯洛雯。現年32歲的她出身演藝世家，是前亞視藝員湯鎮宗長女及前無綫當家小生湯鎮業的姪女，曾在倫敦大學學院修讀心理學，2012年參加香港小姐入行，獲「旅遊大使獎」及「美麗昇華大使獎」。

靚湯在《法證先鋒IV》中飾演記者徐意，頂替黃心穎重拍角色。當時《法證先鋒IV》已完成半年拍攝，因此她被要求在短時間內補拍有關戲份。雖然她在接受TVB訪問時指自己要在短時間拍完：「一開始時我很不習慣，感到壓力非常大。」不過男主角黃浩然就大讚她是「一take湯」，節目播出後，網民亦大讚其表現。

胡㻗
至於在劇中飾演譚俊彥和朱晨麗下屬Super的胡㻗，現實中爸爸是曾受無綫力捧的小生胡越山，而哥哥則是同母異父的港男冠軍羅天宇。

現在25歲的胡㻗，自小希望加入娛樂圈，他曾在泰國就讀國際學校，2012年參選《亞洲先生》；又曾參加《英皇新秀歌唱大賽2015》，至2016年參加《香港先生》獲第四名。胡㻗和哥哥羅天宇一樣，也是選港男後加入無綫，現主力拍劇，戲份愈來愈重。

吳香倫
除了靚湯及「小鮮肉」 胡㻗外，59歲資深演員吳香倫原來也是「星二代」。父親是粵語長片明星吳殷志，妹妹是歌手吳江倫，2018年與資深演員陳榮峻結婚。在她9歲時，被父親的老師顧文忠取錄成為第9期南國實驗劇團的學員，同屆的同學有羅樂林。11歲已在荔園登台唱歌，又曾與陳浩德等人推出雜錦專輯。吳香倫又曾與妹妹到加拿大、澳洲等地演唱。

吳香倫於2012年正式成爲無綫合約藝人，近日在《愛·回家之開心速遞》飾演譚何容儀一角，而她在《法證先鋒IV》「粵劇團連環兇殺案 」中客串粵劇團化妝總監一角。

鮑起靜
今次劇集除了找謝賢和米雪客串外，也找來鮑起靜飾演尋親媽媽。監製梅小青在接受TVB訪問時指，看鮑姐演戲是一種享受，「看她做戲，演得非常投入，睇到自己都唔記得嗌cut。」

鮑起靜是演員及導演鮑方的二女兒，弟弟是曾得奧斯卡金像獎最佳攝影獎的電影攝影師鮑德熹，丈夫是香港電影導演及監製方平。70歲的鮑起靜曾在長城電影公司、麗的電視、亞洲電視及無綫工作，當中她更曾服務亞視30多年。
