社會福利署於2020年2月起推出「幼兒中心家長津貼」，以資助家長繳付幼兒中心服務費用，不設資產審查。特首李家超上月發表《施政報告》時提到，津貼將由每月最多600元提高至1000元，一眾家長參考可參考以下申請資格及方法。
家長津貼｜津貼金額
「幼兒中心家長津貼」（下稱「家長津貼」）資助家長繳付幼兒中心服務費用，以紓緩家長的經濟壓力，對象為正接受全日制資助幼兒服務幼童的家長。由明年4月起，「家長津貼」會由每月最多600元提高至1,000元，適用於所有受政府資助的獨立幼兒中心及附設於幼稚園的幼兒中心。
家長津貼｜申請資格
「家長津貼」適用於正接受全日制資助幼兒中心服務的家長申請，但要留意以下人士無需再額外申請「家長津貼」，包括：
- 正領取綜援計劃下的照顧兒童津貼，幼兒中心月費已全數由綜援支付
- 已獲其他政府資助而無須支付幼兒中心月費的家長，例如已獲「幼稚園及幼兒中心學費減免計劃」全數月費減免
家長津貼｜申請方法
如欲申請「家長津貼」，申請人需填妥夾附的同意書並經幼兒中心交回社署辦事處。欲申請人士可查閱可供申請的「家長津貼」的資助獨立幼兒中心及附設於幼稚園的資助幼兒中心名單。

家長津貼｜發放方式
社署會將「家長津貼」發放到子女入託的幼兒中心，直接資助幼兒的每月月費，直至幼兒離開全日制資助幼兒服務中心為止。如幼兒期間轉至另一間資助幼兒服務中心，「家長津貼」會隨之轉至新幼兒中心並繼續發放。
惟若幼兒在同一個月內先後入託不同幼兒中心，該月的「家長津貼」只會發放到第一間幼兒中心。
