Victory

拜登的勝利（victory）可望有利中美關係，美國不再咄咄逼人，不再無理打壓中國的貿易、科技和製造業，結束中美冷戰。

名詞victory很簡單，就是解「勝利」，贏得比賽、選舉、戰爭等。常用victory over或者victory against，帶出贏了誰。例句︰Many European leaders are relieved by Biden's victory over Trump.（拜登戰勝特朗普，許多歐洲領導人感到寬慰。）The battle marked the first China victory against Japan and was a turning point in the war.（那場戰役標誌着中國抵抗日本的第一次勝利，是該場戰爭的轉捩點。）

Victory可以配搭很多形容詞︰形容大勝，可以用great、landslide、crushing；險勝則可以用narrow。例句︰It was a landslide victory for Biden in the presidential race.（拜登在總統競選中以壓倒性優勢獲勝。）The company won a narrow victory over its biggest rival in the competition.（該公司在競爭中險勝了其最大的競爭對手。）

動詞方面，victory可以配win（贏）、lead（帶領）、sweep（橫掃）等等。例如，He led the team to victory in the 1995 tournament.（他帶領球隊在1995年的聯賽中取得勝利。）
