Put together

工作當然以實力為重，但是外表難免影響別人對你的印象。每天趕上班，還要整體看上去企理整齊（look put together），我的秘訣是準備幾套工作服、紮大馬尾、用一盒過已經配好顏色的化粧盒，節省大量整裝時間！

短語動詞（phrasal verb）put together原意解「安裝、組裝在一起」，例如，It is easy to take the clock apart but it is very difficult to put it together.（將時鐘拆開很容易，但要拼合起來卻非常困難。）

Put together亦可以指「合計起來」，例句：This little boy is smarter than all of you put together.（這個小男孩比你們合起來都還要聰明。）

Put together用來形容人的外表則指其「衣飾裝扮整體湊合、得體」。例句：She looks put together in a black suit and heels.（她一身黑色西裝和高跟鞋，看起來整齊得體。）He took a glance at the mirror to make sure he was put together.（他看一看鏡子，以確保他整裝妥當。）
